Q1) Tell us a little about yourself!
I'm a fat babe who loves fashion, makeup and organising events and safe spaces for other fat babes and the LGBTQIA+ community in Melbourne. I am obsessed with glitter and red lipstick and I have a bunny named Credric.
Q2) Tell us about what you do, and why you do it!
I pride myself on my ability to create safe spaces for marginalised people. I am one half of the team that bought you The Body Positive Expo, I am the host of the podcast The Fat Collective and I have some really exciting adventures coming up in 2020.
Q3) What makes you feel courageous?
Feeling courageous to me means standing up for people who are not in a place to advocate for themselves. It means being vulnerable and sharing my story with people who will benefit from hearing it. All of this is best done in a banging red lip.
Q4) What is one thing you wish you could tell your 16-year-old self?
Despite what other people may tell you, you are perfect just the way you are and one day you will learn to love and embrace your body for everything that it is. And the feelings you have for the other girls in your year are normal and you'll learn to love them too.
Q5) What is one piece of advice you can give a fellow lady who might be lacking courage?
You are perfect just the way you are. There is power in vulnerability. With the right community and support you can accomplish anything and now you have me in your corner and I have your back.
