Lisa of Collective Hub

Q1) Tell us a little about yourself!

I am essentially an entrepreneur for entrepreneurs living my life out loud showing that anything is possible. I started my first business in October 2001 and I am super passionate about igniting human potential. I have multiple business across media (the best known is @collectivehub) and marketing, am an author (seven books in the past five years collectivehub.com) and am about to disrupt at least two more industries in 2020. I love business and I love human connection. I live in Bondi with my partner and our beautiful Cavoodle Benny.

Q2) Tell us about what you do, and why you do it

I have been through a lot in life in business and personally. In 2013 I truly stepped into my purpose of helping others and truly felt strong enough to be a conduit. I live my life out loud being raw, real and relatable and in doing so it helps others and gives them permission to live the life they want on their own terms.

Q3) What makes you feel courageous?

Pushing myself out of my comfort zone every single day.  I am always trying new things. Some fail. Some fly. Next week I’m launching a track … don’t even ask – it’s the craziest and most out there thing I have ever done but I am soooo excited. I’m always pushing boundaries.

Q4) What is one thing you wish you could tell your 16-year-old self?

Don’t worry so much. You are good enough. You will go through a lot of rough patches but you will learn from them all and they will all make you stronger. Just keep going.

Q5) What is one piece of advice you can give a fellow lady who might be lacking courage?

Do the work. Seek external help – be it therapy, councilors, listening to podcasts, surrounding yourself with people who lift you higher. Work out what your triggers are and then do whatever you can to equip yourself with the tools to move through them. Also know internally you have all the answers. You just need to learn to trust, dig deep and believe in yourself.

  • Hi Lisa
I was checking out Courageous Ladies, and reading about Steph who was burnt on White Island in New Zealand. I came across your page whilst checking, and read your story. You are an amazing lady. Please reply if you like – ROB
